Sherman Nagler, D.P.M.

Foot & Ankle Surgeon

Dr. Sherman Nagler is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. He is a Diplomat with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Nagler is currently active at a number of Houston hospitals, including The Methodist Hospital, Memorial Herman Hospital and Tenet Park Plaza Hospital – the latter of which he serves as the Section Chief of Podiatric Surgery. He also serves on the Oral Examinations Committee of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.

He has previously served on a number of hospital committees, including Operating Room, Credentials, Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

Dr. Nagler is a teaching faculty member of the Houston Podiatric Foundation and Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency programs – posts which have lead him to mentor many podiatrists in the Houston area.

Dr. Nagler obtained his Bachelor of Art's degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency training at New York's Gourveneur Hospital.

In addition to American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Nagler is a member of the Harris County Podiatry Society, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and American Podiatric Medical Association.
